Where approved coverage is available, MFD can coordinate a qualified field professional to document the fireplace, measure the controlling geometry, and return a standardized report. The professional gathers evidence. MFD makes the fitment decision.

Why a field visit exists
Some questions can only be answered at the fireplace.
When photographs and remote guidance cannot establish the controlling geometry, mounting surface, construction, or clearance, MFD may recommend an on-site visit where approved coverage is available. The standard does not change. The vantage point does.
